Role Description

The Data Center Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Fredericia Municipality, responsible for overseeing end-to-end delivery of data center projects. This role includes planning and coordinating project scopes, timelines, resources, and budgets, while ensuring alignment with customer requirements and Convergint standards. The Data Center Project Manager will manage vendor and partner activities, supervise expediting and logistics, and coordinate inspections and quality checks across all project phases. Daily tasks include stakeholder communication, progress reporting, risk and issue management, and implementation of corrective actions when required. The role also involves driving continuous improvement in processes, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and supporting handover to service teams after project completion.

Qualifications

• Project management skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder data center projects.
• Expediting competencies, such as Expeditor experience and Expediting skills to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
• Inspection capabilities, with experience in Inspection activities to verify installation quality, system performance, and compliance with specifications.
• Logistics Management skills to plan, coordinate, and optimize transportation, warehousing, and site delivery schedules.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and effective prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Demonstrated experience in data center, building systems, or related technical environments is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency with project management tools and basic IT systems; familiarity with budgeting and cost control is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Fredericia Municipality and collaborate effectively in a diverse, cross-functional team environment.
