Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a senior leader to shape the data and AI agenda across finance and People, Places & Culture. Based in Copenhagen or Billund and fluent in English, you will lay the foundations for an embedded data and AI function with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.

You’ll partner with executives to turn strategic opportunities into prioritized roadmaps, pilots, and scalable data capabilities that drive measurable business value across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven track record influencing senior stakeholders and delivering across boundaries.
• Turn business problems into data/AI roadmaps with solid business cases.
• Technical depth to judge feasibility with data science and engineering teams.
• Experience handling sensitive people data with governance and controls.
• Experience in consumer products, retail or a large multinational organization.
• Delivered use cases such as forecasting, workforce analytics, attrition prediction, or talent planning.
• Established a data/analytics function from the ground up.
• Familiarity with lakehouse and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience navigating HR systems, ERP complexity and data privacy requirements.
• Consulting or transformation background requiring influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Define a data and AI vision for finance and people functions.
• Identify opportunities and turn them into prioritised roadmaps and business cases.
• Bring together data, analytics, product and engineering teams to deliver early proofs of concept and pilots.
• Assess what data is available, missing or trustworthy, and identify improvements needed.
• Represent the business’s needs to the enterprise data platform team, helping the platform evolve.
• Define the skills, roles and ways of working for a future embedded data and AI team.
• Help leaders understand what data and AI can do, identify more ambitious opportunities.
