Job summary

Ørsted is seeking a student assistant to support Risk & Compliance within Cyber Security. You’ll help manage governance, risk and compliance activities, analyse data, and contribute to reporting while learning from specialists across a global organisation.

You’ll work with Excel/Power BI, handle inquiries, and help update processes and documentation. The role emphasizes collaboration, initiative, and continuous improvement in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in business, risk management, cyber security, information technology, or law or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI or similar data/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Run daily compliance processes and support the dispensation process for security control deviations.
• Address queries via email and ticketing systems; coordinate with colleagues for timely resolution.
• Assist with data collection, analysis, insights, and reporting for risk and compliance activities.
• Maintain and update documentation, guidelines, procedures, and process materials.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process optimisation opportunities.
• Contribute to governance activities by preparing materials and tracking actions for stakeholders.
