Job summary

Work in USA in Odense is seeking a part-time Information Security Analyst to help protect our data and information systems. You will work with the IT team to identify risks, implement security measures, and monitor for suspicious activity.

This urgent role offers flexible hours (20 hours per week) and a start date as soon as possible. The successful candidate will have a degree in CS/IT and hands-on experience with vulnerability assessments and GDPR compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in CS/IT or related field.
Proven experience as Information Security Analyst or similar role.
Knowledge of network security protocols, tools and technologies.
Experience conducting vulnerability assessments.
Familiarity with GDPR compliance.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify risks and vulnerabilities.
Develop and implement security policies, procedures and controls.
Monitor networks, systems and applications for anomalies or suspicious activity.
Respond to security incidents in a timely manner and investigate.
Keep up-to-date with information security trends and technologies.
Collaborate with IT to ensure systems are secure and compliant.
