Job summary

H&MV Engineering is seeking a CSA Construction Manager to lead Civil, Structural, and Architectural works across multiple nationwide projects in Denmark. You will drive safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets while coordinating with CSA Supervisors and Project Engineers on diverse sites.

You will ensure compliance with H&MV standards, manage design coordination interfaces, and promote innovative solutions to meet client expectations and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven experience managing CSA construction activities in large-scale industrial, utility, or renewable energy projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil, architectural, and structural disciplines.
• Proficiency in project management software (Primavera, MS Project, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

About the Role:

As a CSA Construction Manager at H&MV Engineering, you will lead and oversee the successful execution of all Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works across multiple projects. This is a nationwide role focused on ensuring safe, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery in alignment with H&MV’s standards and client expectations.

You’ll work closely with project delivery teams to drive excellence in construction management, safety, quality control, commercial awareness, and innovation—supporting H&MV’s mission to deliver world-class engineering solutions that power a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Coordination

• Define and manage the full scope of CSA works including civil, structural steel, concrete, masonry, finishes, and architectural elements.
• Collaborate with design coordination teams to ensure constructability, resolve design challenges, and achieve project delivery targets.
• Oversee day-to-day CSA construction activities in partnership with CSA Supervisors and Project Engineers across multiple sites.
• Ensure site setup, organization, and presentation align with H&MV mobilisation procedures and standards.
• Act as a key liaison between project teams, designers, and contractors, promoting innovation and clear communication in all CSA activities.

Planning & Execution

• Develop, maintain, and monitor construction schedules for CSA works, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
• Support early design and procurement coordination to guarantee the timely delivery of critical materials.
• Review and approve permits, licenses, and regulatory documentation to ensure project compliance.
• Conduct progress reviews, monitor performance against schedule and budget, and report to senior management.
• Identify and address on-site issues promptly to avoid schedule delays or cost overruns.

Safety & Risk Management

• Promote a safety-first culture across all CSA activities, ensuring compliance with legislative, regulatory, and company safety requirements.
• Identify and mitigate potential construction risks (e.g., soil stability, weather impacts) in collaboration with the CSA Supervisors and Engineers.
• Support identification and management of High-Risk Activities (HRA) and Extra High-Risk Activities (EHRA).
• Conduct and document regular safety audits and site inspections, ensuring all subcontractors adhere to H&MV safety standards.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure all CSA works meet design intent, specifications, and H&MV quality standards.
• Conduct and report regular quality audits, ensuring close-out of non-conformities.
• Address defects or design deviations promptly with the CSA team.
• Oversee implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure robust QA/QC documentation.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement through internal QA/QC processes.

Commercial & Cost Control

• Provide input into cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for CSA activities.
• Review project costs regularly to ensure financial performance remains within budget.
• Conduct joint commercial audits with project commercial teams and track subcontractor compliance.
• Evaluate contractors’ performance quarterly, ensuring quality, safety, and cost standards are met.

Project Handover & Compliance

• Lead the close-out of CSA works, ensuring all systems and elements meet required standards before handover.
• Ensure environmental and sustainability compliance across all CSA construction activities.
• Contribute to final project documentation, including as-builts, certifications, and warranties.
