Job summary

Better Collective A/S is seeking a CRM Technical Lead to own the Salesforce platform and related systems. You will lead the development and administration team, ~eight people primarily based in Serbia, while the role itself is based in Copenhagen.

You will design architectures, set DevOps practices, and ensure high-quality implementations. Fluent English and a Salesforce Architect certification are expected, with regular travel to Serbia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on with Salesforce platform including Apex, LWCs, Flow and integrations.
• At least 2 years leading a development team.

Responsibilities

• Design the system architecture, integration patterns and data model with a single source of truth for every object.
• Decide if a technical design is ready to build or needs refinement.
• Document architecture decisions with rationale for future readability.
• Manage, coach and develop the developers and administrators.
• Set standards for code quality, reviews, and environment transitions.
• Mitigate single points of knowledge by spreading critical expertise.
• Push back when a proposed build is over- or under-engineered.

Job description

Do you want to own how our commercial systems are built, and lead the developers who build them? If yes, then you might be our new colleague as our new CRM Technical Lead.

About the role

As CRM Technical Lead you are the technical authority for our Salesforce platform and the systems around it.

You report to the Head of Revenue Systems and lead the development and administration team day to day, around eight people mainly based in Serbia. The role is based in Copenhagen.

Your main responsibilities

• Design the system architecture, integration patterns and cross-system data model, with a named source of truth for every object

• Decide whether a technical design is ready to build, or needs more work first

• Write down architecture decisions, what was chosen, what was rejected and why, so they are still readable in twelve months

• Manage, coach and develop the developers and administrators

• Set the standard for code quality, code review and how changes move between environments

• Remove single points of knowledge, so nobody is the only person who understands something critical

• Push back when a proposed build is over- or under-engineered for the actual need

• 5+ years hands‑on with the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow and integrations, with at least 2 leading a development team

• You have designed integration architecture across more than one system, such as CRM, ERP and data platforms

• You have set up or run Salesforce DevOps: source control, CI/CD, code review and environment strategy

• A Salesforce Application or System Architect certification, or similar

• Fluent English
