NextWave Publications is seeking a skilled Turner for a contract position in Esbjerg, Denmark. You will operate turning machines, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet specifications while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience as Turner or similar role.
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
Proficient with micrometers and calipers.
Knowledge of metals and their properties.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

Responsabilités

Set up turning machines by loading materials, adjusting speeds, and selecting cutting tools.
Operate turning machines to fabricate metal parts according to specifications.
Monitor machine operations, make adjustments as needed, and perform quality checks.
Inspect raw materials for defects before production.
Read blueprints or job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances.
Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents.
Maintain a clean work area by removing debris from machines.
Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform basic maintenance tasks.
Communicate any issues to supervisors or team members.
