Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Denmark is seeking a seasoned Logistics Manager to develop and implement site logistics strategies for major infrastructure projects. You will coordinate inbound and outbound flows, manage vendors, and align logistics with project phases.

The role requires 5–7 years in logistics, strong negotiation skills, ERP SAP experience, and the ability to work with construction teams. You will monitor performance dashboards and ensure timely deliveries on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5–7 years in logistics or supply chain roles, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies for materials such as steel, concrete, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with specifications and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and site delivery.
• Oversee staging, storage, and just-in-time delivery to minimize site congestion.
• Collaborate with construction managers and engineering teams to align logistics with project phases.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies (e.g., buffer stock, alternative sourcing).
• Use ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and construction platforms to track procurement and delivery.
• Maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholders on logistics performance.

• Ability to manage multiple vendors and coordinate across teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
