Job summary

Fastned is seeking a Senior Project Manager Construction to lead the delivery of high-quality charging stations across Denmark. You will work with the Construction Lead New Markets and the Country Manager Denmark, handling grid connections, partner collaboration, and construction planning.

You will monitor schedules and budgets while engaging with multiple stakeholders nationwide and abroad. Travel within Denmark and abroad is expected as part of scaling our European EV charging network.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, business or equivalent.
• Strong technical affinity.
• 6+ years of experience in deployment and/or construction or equivalent.
• Ability to work structured and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and a high level of initiative.
• Ability to navigate and manage stakeholder dynamics.
• Willingness to travel abroad and within Denmark to visit partners and construction sites.
• Near-native Danish and business-level English.
• Driving license.
• Genuine interest in the energy transition and Fastned's mission.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and realize grid connections for new stations.
• Collaborate with engineering partners and manage material supply and construction planning.
• Monitor schedules and budgets; coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Visit partners and sites to demonstrate negotiation and hands-on capabilities.
• Create a roadmap for construction initiation in a new country by identifying local partners and ensuring safety compliance.
• Support the network development team in site evaluations and due diligence.
