Job summary

Planet Pharma seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to support a major capital project. You will own contract administration, governance and risk management across multiple work packages, collaborating with project, engineering and commercial teams.

Ideal candidates bring extensive construction contract expertise, strong claims management skills and a track record of engaging contractors effectively to safeguard cost and schedule performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in contract management, commercial management or quantity surveying within construction or capital projects.
• Strong experience managing construction contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proven expertise in variations, change management, claims and extension of time assessments.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of construction contracts from award through to closeout.
• Administer contract changes, variations, compensation events and claims.
• Review contractor applications for payment, valuations and commercial reporting.
• Monitor contractual obligations, risk exposure and compliance requirements.
• Support dispute avoidance and resolution activities.
• Work closely with project controls, planning and project management teams to protect cost and schedule performance.
• Manage contractor and subcontractor commercial performance.
• Provide commercial insights and recommendations to project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate contract records, documentation and reporting.
