Job summary

DTU Nanolab seeks a visionary Head of Thin Film Processing to lead plasma etch and deposition activities, including ICP/RIE, PECVD, LPCVD, PVD and inline metrology. You will guide senior process specialists, ensure safety, and align with research and industry partners.

You will shape through strategic decisions and collaboration with Nordic and EU initiatives while expanding DTU Nanolab’s capabilities. A Ph.D. and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

  • Master of Science and Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Micro/Nanofabrication).
  • Industrial experience is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership of highly skilled staff.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee plasma etch and deposition processes and tool maintenance.
  • Lead process development, optimization and yield improvements.
  • Collaborate with academic and industrial users and procurement.
  • Shape DTU Nanolab's strategic and operational direction as part of the core management team.
