Job summary

DEIF A/S seeks a CFD & Mechanical Design Engineer to strengthen the Hardware & Mechanics team and establish Computational Fluid Dynamics as a key capability. You will drive cooling design, run CFD simulations, and guide measurements while contributing to mechanical product development.

This role blends advanced simulation with hands-on engineering, requiring a MSc/BSc in Mechanical Engineering, solid heat transfer knowledge, and fluent English. Flexible work days are offered.

Qualifications

• Holds a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics and thermal management.
• Experience with CFD simulation and numerical analysis tools.
• Ability to translate simulation results into product improvements and design decisions.
• Enjoys combining simulation work with mechanical product development.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimise air and liquid cooling solutions for components and systems.
• Set up, execute and analyse CFD simulations.
• Translate simulation results into clear and actionable design recommendations.
• Validate simulation models through testing and measurements.
• Support development teams with thermal and cooling expertise throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in mechanical design, development and review activities.
• Develop technical reports and share findings across engineering teams.
• Contribute to the development of new methods, technologies and simulation capabilities.
