Vestas seeks a Category Lead Specialist to shape global commodity strategies within Cranes & Installation. You will lead cross-functional teams and align strategies with business goals to unlock value across the supply chain.

The role requires 7+ years in global procurement, a Master’s degree, offshore wind experience, and strong stakeholder management in a dynamic, international environment. Expect ~50 travel days per year.

• 7+ years’ experience in global procurement and category/commodity management.
• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance or related field.
• Offshore wind experience is a strong advantage.
• Background in project management within EPC, oil & gas, or infrastructure.
• Proven experience developing and implementing strategies in matrix organisations.
• Solid leadership skills with ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder influencing skills.

We are overall responsible for all Procurement activities within Vestas, including leading global and cross-functional teams, developing and implementing commodity strategies across modules, creating and capturing end-to-end value, supplier relationship management and supplier account management, performance metrics monitoring and development.

Additional information
