Job summary

NOVENCO Building & Industry A/S in Denmark is seeking a Business Controller to partner with the leadership team, providing analysis, challenge and a financial structure to support informed decisions and improve results across the organisation.

You will lead monthly performance reporting, perform P&L variance analysis, drive forecasting across revenue and project performance, support business case evaluation for strategic initiatives, and contribute to contolling process development within Group

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in business controlling, project controlling, financial planning, performance management or a comparable finance role.

Responsibilities

• Act as financial business partner to leadership across Sales, Project Management and R&D, supporting strategic and operational decision-making through financial insights and recommendations.
• Prepare and consolidate monthly performance reporting, ensuring management has a reliable view of financial and operational performance.
• Perform P&L variance analysis, identify key performance drivers and translate findings into practical actions for the business.
• Lead forecasting processes covering revenue, order intake, project performance, SG&A and annual budgeting, improving transparency and financial predictability.
• Drive financial management of projects and act as a financial partner in monthly project reviews with Project Managers, strengthening cost control, accountability and financial discipline.
• Support business case development and financial evaluation of strategic initiatives, investments and R&D projects.
• Ensure timely identification and communication of financial risks and opportunities, while providing recommendations for mitigating actions.
• Contribute to the continuous development of controlling processes, reporting tools and performance management practices across the organisation.

Your Impact

What Drives Success

• Relevant experience in business controlling, project controlling, financial planning, performance management or a comparable finance role.

• Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, financial variance analysis and project financial management

• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear recommendations for commercial and operational stakeholders.

• Confident business partner who constructively challenges decisions and builds trusted relationships across functions.
