Job summary

CHANGE of Scandinavia A/S in Farum is seeking a commercially minded Business Controller to join our Business Finance Team. You will work closely with Country Managers and colleagues across Logistics, Production and other functions, supporting the business with financial insights to drive better decisions.

The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and cost control, with emphasis on salary costs and productivity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar.
• Approximately 3+ years of experience in controlling, finance or another analytical role.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor P&L performance, sales and key business KPIs.
• Participate in Business Reviews with managers and the Finance Team.
• Analyze performance against budget and forecast to identify key drivers.
• Provide financial insights to Country Managers and stakeholders.
• Analyze salary costs, worked hours and labor productivity.
• Turn data into clear, actionable insights and support ad hoc projects.

CHANGE of Scandinavia A/S is looking for a commercially minded Business Controller to join our Business Finance Team at our headquarters in Farum.

You will work closely with Country Managers and colleagues across Logistics, Production and other functions, supporting the business with financial insights and helping turn numbers into better decisions.

Your Responsibilities

Performance & Business Support

• Follow up on P&L performance, sales and key business KPIs.
• Participate in Business Reviews with managers and the Business Finance Team.
• Analyse performance against budget and forecast and help identify the key business drivers.
• Support Country Managers and other stakeholders with relevant financial insights.
• Workforce & Salary Costs
• Follow up on salary costs, worked hours and labour productivity.
• Help identify and explain variances between actual performance, budget and forecast.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare reports and analyses supporting financial planning and decision-making.

Business Analysis

• Analyse sales, campaigns and operational performance.
• Turn data into clear and actionable insights.
• Support ad hoc analyses and business projects across the organisation.

Your profile

You have a relevant degree within Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar and approximately 3+ years of experience from controlling, finance or another analytical role.

You enjoy working with numbers, but you are equally interested in understanding what is happening behind the numbers and how Finance can support better business decisions.

Experience from retail is an advantage, but not a requirement.

We also expect that you:

• Have strong Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
• Have experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Can present data and financial insights in a clear and visual way.
• Are comfortable working with different stakeholders across the business.
• Are structured and able to manage several priorities at the same time.
• Are fluent in written and spoken English.
• Speak one of the Scandinavian languages (Danish, Swedish or Norwegian) at native level.
