Job summary

The LEGO Group in Billund, Denmark invites you to join the Build & Play Experience Design Internship within LEGO DESiGN for a 5‑month period. From February to June 2027 you’ll brainstorm and prototype playful ways to enhance physical and digital LEGO building experiences, collaborate with designers across LEGO DESiGN, and test ideas directly with consumers.

This hands‑on program offers mentorship, teamwork, and the chance to shape future play worldwide.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Digital Media, Industrial Design, Product Design, Design Research or related design field.
• Strong curiosity and passion for prototyping and hands-on design work.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm and prototype playful ways to facilitate LEGO building across physical and digital concepts.
• Collaborate with partners across LEGO DESiGN and test ideas with consumers.
• Contribute your perspective and develop your craft through real design work.

Job Description Build & Play Experience Design Internship, LEGO DESiGN Prototype playful new ways to support physical and digital LEGO building experiences. Location Billund, Denmark Duration 5 months Internship period February-June 2027 Application deadline 1 November 2026 Where you will make your mark You’ll join the LEGO Build & Play Experience Design Team. We create playful ways to innovate digital and physical LEGO building experiences, and your fresh ideas will help shape experiences enjoyed by audiences worldwide. As an intern, you’ll brainstorm and prototype new ways to facilitate LEGO building and play across physical and digital concepts, collaborate with partners across LEGO DESiGN and test ideas directly with consumers. This role is a strong match if you love building, prototyping and teaching others playful ways to create.
