Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced BMS Engineer to lead commissioning and handover for complex datacenter projects. You will review designs, validate assumptions, and coordinate with M&E teams on site, delivering FATs and complete documentation.

Location: Copenhagen (site-based) We are looking for an experienced BMS Engineer to deliver and commission complex datacenter construction projects involving integrated Building Management Systems (BMS). This role is critical to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, while meeting both customer and commercial expectations.
Bachelor-level qualification in electrical, electronic, or automation engineering or a relevant electrical/electronic apprenticeship combined with >5 years of BMS or control system commissioning experience Strong HVAC and BMS commissioning experience, including AHUs, terminal units, actuators, and controllers Experience with fault finding in electrical starters and control circuits Practical experience commissioning variable speed drives (VSDs) Familiarity with BMS industry‑standard protocols Good written and verbal communication skills Valid industry‑standard H&S certification (e.g. Safe Pass or equivalent) Willingness to work onsite at construction projects in the Copenhagen area Preferred: Datacenter BMS commissioning experience Experience with one or more of the following platforms: JCI Metasys, EasyIO, Tridium Niagara, Trend, Siemens, Schneider Experience managing or contributing to large‑scale or regulated projects (e.g. datacenter, healthcare, government) Ability to create/update graphics and set up workstations and networks (training can be provided) Danish driving license Fluency in both Danish and English
