Job summary

Zealand Pharma A/S is seeking a Project Vice President, Portfolio Management to design, implement, and maintain the portfolio governance that guides its R&D investments. You will coordinate cross-functional due diligence on external opportunities and build a disciplined, data-driven framework embedded in the governance process.

You will lead end-to-end portfolio processes, develop analytics and scenario models, and deliver decision-ready views for governance discussions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading portfolio management in pharmaceutical or biotech settings.
• Proven ability to design and implement portfolio governance and decision-support systems.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills for value, risk, and resource modeling.

Responsibilities

• Establish end-to-end portfolio management process for R&D Governance.
• Develop analytics and scenario models to quantify value, risk, and resources.
• Deliver integrated portfolio views for toll gate and prioritization discussions.
• Build tools, dashboards, and reporting for leadership visibility on progress and risk.
• Drive portfolio-level risk identification and mitigation and lead reviews.
• Lead cross-functional due diligence of external drug development opportunities.
