Job summary

Shell Biogas is seeking an experienced engineer to lead maintenance program development and contribute to the operation and optimization of large biogas plants across Europe. The role is based in Aarhus or Odense, reporting to the Asset Management Technical Support Manager.

You will drive risk-based maintenance planning, manage major projects, and collaborate with local operations, Engineering, and cross-border teams to optimize production and meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical background in mechanical engineering or similar.
• Experience with operation & maintenance of process plants.
• Familiarity with maintenance systems and routines.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to optimize biogas plants, enabling cost reductions and capacity gains.
• Drive maintenance programs based on risk assessment and company standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary projects from concept to implementation with European teams.
• Ensure knowledge sharing between Asset Management Technical Support and project teams.
