Job summary

RWE Offshore Wind GmbH in Copenhagen is seeking a senior professional to lead the sustainability and biodiversity innovation portfolio within the Innovation & Industrialisation Projects Team. You will shape strategies, manage budgets, and align with auction criteria, consent requirements and strategic sustainability priorities.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering, natural sciences, ecology or marine biology.
• At least five years of professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability trends in offshore wind.
• Knowledge of marine monitoring tech and Nature Positive concepts.
• Solid project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Shape and manage the sustainability and biodiversity innovation area.
• Act as the primary innovation interface for biodiversity topics.
• Identify, assess, and deliver innovation projects creating portfolio value.
• Develop technology maturation plans for biodiversity topics.
• Represent RWE in external collaborations and programs.
• Plan and execute activities with engineers and experts.
