Job summary

Ellab A/S is building a unified BI platform and seeks a Business Intelligence Engineer to build and maintain BI solutions using Power BI, SQL and Microsoft Fabric. You will own data from source systems to semantic models and reporting, collaborating with Data Engineers and analysts across functions.

You will translate business needs into robust BI solutions, troubleshoot data quality issues, and contribute to best practices in data governance and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Power BI, DAX and SQL.
• Experience with semantic layers and consistent metrics.
• Experience with ERP/CRM data sources.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into robust BI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and optimize semantic models in Power BI to enable reliable, scalable and compliant reporting across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Field Services and Sales.
• Develop and improve data solutions using SQL, Microsoft Fabric and ADF.
• Work directly with operational data sources from Microsoft business applications (ERP/CRM) and investigate data quality, integration, and reporting issues.
• Troubleshoot problems and take end-to-end responsibility from idea to implementation and continuous improvement.
• Translate business processes, needs and operational challenges into practical, robust BI solutions.
