Job summary

Urban Partners is seeking a BI & Data Platform Manager to own the Microsoft Fabric data platform. You will lead a small team of internal data engineers and external consultants, turning reporting needs into reliable data deliveries and production releases.

You will drive technical direction, coordinate with data management and reporting teams, and ensure smooth operations with partners across borders. Based in Copenhagen, the role is hands-on and management-focused.

Qualifications

• Experience building and running Microsoft Fabric or equivalent platforms.
• Strong BI expertise with Power BI and semantic models.
• Understanding of the full data journey from integration to analytics.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical deliverables and production releases.
• Experience reviewing designs and troubleshooting with cross-border vendors.
• Team leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of operating and developing the Fabric data platform.
• Lead and develop the team of data engineers and consultants.
• Translate reporting needs into prioritized data deliveries and release packages.
• Coordinate reporting teams, Data Management, engineers and external partners.
• Ensure stable operations and safe releases through monitoring and release management.
• Provide technical direction and hands-on problem-solving.
• Manage external vendors and partners.
• Continuously improve processes, automation and cost efficiency.
• Align priorities and expectations with the business and coordinate requests
