Job summary

Dandy in Copenhagen is seeking an experienced bartender to own a busy bar section from the first guest to the last, crafting cocktails to spec at speed, and maintaining a clean, stocked station for each service. You will ensure accurate POS handling and a proper close so the next shift walks in ready to go.

On Saturdays you will be pouring for a crowd, reading who needs attention, and making every guest feel like the only one there. English is essential; Danish or other languages are a bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience behind a busy bar, restaurant or hotel.
• Confident with classic cocktails and menu explanations.
• Strong hygiene standards and cash/card handling proficiency.
• English language required; other languages are a plus.

Are you our next bartender at Dandy?

Dandy is a cocktail bar and nightclub in the middle of Copenhagen. The drinks are made properly and the room keeps moving until late. We are hiring experienced bartenders.

The role

You run your section of the bar from the first guest to the last. Cocktails to spec at speed, a clean and stocked station through service, accurate work on the POS, and a proper close so the next shift walks into a bar that is ready to go.

The job is as much about the room as the recipe. On a good Saturday you are pouring for a crowd three deep, reading who needs looking after, and still making the person in front of you feel like the only one there.

What we are looking for

Experience behind a busy bar, restaurant or hotel, and real confidence with the classics. You mix accurately, look after your tools and equipment, and hold hygiene standards without being asked. You know the menu well enough to explain it, listen properly to what a guest is actually after, and give everyone who walks in the same welcome. You handle cash and cards cleanly and reconcile without drama.

You understand responsible alcohol service and the local rules. You can stand for long stretches, work evenings and weekends, and stay steady when the room is full. You are reliable, on time, and easy to work beside in a team that comes from everywhere. English is essential, Danish or other languages an asset.
