Job summary

GetWhy is hiring a Backend Engineer to build a scalable AI-driven insights platform. You will work with an international team of engineers and data scientists, focusing on backend development in GoLang (or Python) within AWS, Docker and modern web tech.

You’ll report to the Lead Engineer and operate in a fast-paced scale-up environment, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, learning and delivering customer-centric insights. Copenhagen-based with flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Experience with backend development in GoLang or similar language.
• Broad interest in web technologies and architecture.
• Motivation for working in a scaling, fast-paced environment.
• Strong believer in teamwork and collaborative delivery.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve the platform in collaboration with Engineering and Product teams.
• Contribute within a crossfunctional team of Backend Developers, Data Scientists, Frontend Developers and an Infrastructure Engineer.
• Report to the Lead Engineer and participate in design, code reviews and deployments.
