Job summary

MAP is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate a modern cloud platform on Microsoft Azure. You will create IaC using Terraform, deploy AKS clusters and implement GitOps workflows with Flux CD, enabling developers to deploy safely and efficiently.

You will collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes, build reusable modules, and advance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions while ensuring security, governance and reliability across environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Designing enterprise-scale cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Azure networking, identity management and security.
• Proven Terraform usage for cloud infra and modules.
• Experience with Kubernetes and AKS deployments.
• GitOps principles and Flux CD experience.
• Experience with Git repositories and GitHub Actions.
• Building automated CI/CD pipelines and IaC practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
• Developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Creating reusable Terraform modules for multiple environments.
• Deploying and operating Kubernetes platforms, especially AKS.
• Managing Kubernetes lifecycle: upgrades, monitoring, scaling, security, availability.
• Supporting containerised apps and Kubernetes workloads.
• Implementing and maintaining GitOps workflows with Flux CD.
• Managing deployments via Git repositories.
• Building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Creating self-service capabilities for developers to deploy apps.
• Collaborating with development teams to improve deployment processes.
• Automating operational tasks and improving platform reliability.
• Contributing to governance, security, access control and cost optimisation.
• Monitoring platforms, troubleshooting incidents and root-cause analysis.
• Documentation and engineering best-practices contributions.
