Job summary

Bang & Olufsen in Kongens Lyngby or Struer, Denmark, is seeking an Automation QA Engineer focused on Wireless and RF protocols. You will join the QA Automation team to develop Python-based automated tests, extend Labgrid-based frameworks, and ensure robust connectivity testing across embedded product systems.

You should have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience, plus hands-on Python, Bluetooth/WiFi testing, and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent practical experience in computing or engineering.
• Experience writing clean, scalable Python code for automation and testing.
• Knowledge of Bluetooth/BLE, Wi-Fi, and connectivity testing for embedded products.
• Experience designing and executing integration and system tests with hardware-in-the-loop.
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and extend Python-based automated test solutions using Labgrid and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
• Design, execute, and maintain tests for Bluetooth, BLE, WiFi, and LAN connectivity across embedded software.
• Apply QA principles to analyze requirements and refine acceptance criteria.
• Build and maintain test infrastructure, including hardware jigging, networking equipment, and CI/CD integrations.
• Investigate and root-cause connectivity issues using protocol analysis and RF debugging, automating findings.
• Collaborate with software and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle and communicate test status and KPIs.
• Serve as SME for wireless connectivity testing and drive improvements to testing capabilities.
