Job summary

Bang & Olufsen is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with a focus on Wireless and RF protocols. You will extend Python- and Labgrid-based test frameworks, contribute to new testing approaches, and help verify connectivity across embedded platforms.

Based in Denmark with options in Kongens Lyngby or Struer, you will work in an agile team, build scalable test suites, and collaborate with development, manual QA, and customer validation teams to ensure quality and reliability of our products.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Python development and clean, scalable code.
• Strong knowledge of Bluetooth, BLE, Wi‑Fi and connectivity testing.
• Experience designing integration and system‑level tests with hardware‑in‑the‑loop.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and extend Python‑based automated test solutions using Labgrid and hardware‑in‑the‑loop environments.
• Design, execute, and maintain integration and system‑level verification tests for Bluetooth, BLE, Wi‑Fi, and LAN connectivity.
• Refine acceptance criteria and identify testability constraints for software under development.
• Build and maintain test infrastructure, including hardware test jigs and CI/CD integrations.
• Investigate defects with protocol analysis and RF debugging, turning findings into regression tests.
• Collaborate with software development, manual QA, and customer validation teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide transparency on test progress, quality metrics, and system maturity through documentation and reporting.
• Act as the internal subject matter expert for wireless and Bluetooth connectivity testing.
