NACOS Marine in Denmark seeks an Automation Certification Engineer to own type approval and certification for our automation and control system products. NACOS Marine delivers advanced navigation, automation, and control systems for vessels worldwide. Our integrated solutions help ship owners and operators improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability at sea. With proven reliability, innovative technology, and dedicated support, we enable smarter maritime operations. Let's shape the future of maritime technology together.
We are seeking a structured and detail-oriented Automation Certification Engineer (m/f/d) to take ownership of type approval and certification for our automation and control system products.
In this role, you will plan and run certification programs with classification societies and notified bodies, maintain our existing certificate portfolio, and prepare the documentation packages that demonstrate compliance. You will work closely with R&D, project teams, production, and external test labs, and act as our point of contact for class surveyors.
You will also track regulatory developments across IMO, IEC, and IACS, and advise our development teams on design-for-certification so that compliance is built in rather than retrofitted.
At NACOS Marine, you'll become part of a global organization delivering innovative maritime technology solutions to customers around the world. Certification is what allows our systems to reach the bridge, and in this role you will own that process end to end, working with class societies, notified bodies, and our engineering teams.
We value precision, ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning. We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing order to complex regulatory requirements, keeps track of detail over long timelines, and can keep multiple programs moving toward their deadlines.
