Job summary

The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) invites applications for a new 5-year (20%) Associate Professor appointment in Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacy and Environmental Medicine within the Department of Public Health.

The appointee will lead a research area in pharmacoepidemiology and contribute to teaching across Medicine, Pharmacy, Chiropractor and Biomedicine. Fluent English is required, a PhD or equivalent research track, and the ability to secure external funding.

Qualifications

• Pharmacoepidemiology and clinical research background.
• Ability to attract external research funding.
• Teaching across Medicine, Pharmacy, Chiropractor, and Biomedicine.
• Supervise bachelor and master projects; administrative duties.
• Fluent English in writing and speech.
• PhD or equivalent research experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish own research area within pharmacoepidemiologic group.
• Attract external funding to support research.
• Teach in Medicine, Pharmacy, Chiropractor, Biomedicine.
• Supervise bachelor and master projects.
• Contribute to administrative duties such as Study Boards.
