Job summary

DTU invites applications for a faculty position at Assistant or Associate Professor level within biomanufacturing and sustainable process technologies. The position is linked to BRIGHT and anchored into DTU Chemical and Biochemical Engineering.

Responsibilities include research, teaching, and innovation; development of a teaching portfolio; teaching in Danish and English, and supervision at BSc, MSc and PhD levels; collaboration with industry and other DTU departments.

Qualifications

• PhD in chemical/biochemical engineering, biotechnology, or related field.
• Strong research track record.
• Experience with experimental and/or modeling approaches.
• Commitment to high-quality teaching and supervision at BSc, MSc and PhD levels.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and with industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to research, teaching and innovation in solid-state fermentation for microbial food production.
• Develop and deliver teaching portfolios and new courses in the topic area.
• Teach courses in Danish or English and supervise students at BSc/MSc/PhD levels.
• Collaborate with industry partners and other DTU departments.
