Job summary

Momentum Consulting is seeking an Associate to join as a Student Assistant with growing responsibilities. You will work closely with our consultants on executive search assignments, including research, mapping, market analysis and candidate outreach while you continue your studies.

Depending on experience, you will take on larger parts of the process, participate in client meetings and interviews, and help prepare client materials.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant university degree with several years remaining.
• Experience from executive search, recruitment or related environment.
• Strong researcher who enjoys market and people mapping.
• Structured, analytical, and able to take ownership.
• Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Already working as Student Assistant in executive search, and ready for more responsibility?

We are looking for a talented Associate to join us at Momentum Consulting alongside their studies.

You may already be working as a student assistant, Research Associate or Junior Associate in an executive search firm, where you have learned the fundamentals of the profession: understanding markets and organizations, mapping relevant talent pools, identifying candidates and conducting high-quality research.

Perhaps you are now ready to apply those skills in a smaller and more entrepreneurial search firm, where you can get closer to the entire process – and take on significantly more responsibility.

At Momentum, you will work closely with our consultants on executive search assignments across industries and functions. Research and mapping will naturally be an important part of the role, but we want you to do more than identify names.

Depending on your experience and capabilities, you will gradually take responsibility for larger parts of the search process, including search strategy, market analysis, candidate identification and outreach, candidate screening and preparation of client materials. We also expect you to participate in client meetings and candidate interviews, and potentially conduct the latter yourself.

We imagine that you:

• Are currently pursuing a relevant university degree with at least a couple of years remaining
• Already have experience from executive search, recruitment or a closely related environment
• Are a strong researcher and enjoy the detective work involved in understanding markets, companies and people
• Are structured, analytical and comfortable taking ownership of your work
• Have a genuine interest in business, organizations and leadership
• Have a hands‑on mindset and are happy to roll up your sleeves. We are a small firm, and while you are given significant responsibility, we also expect everyone to help with the practical, everyday tasks that simply need to get done
• Thrive in a smaller environment where expectations are high, decisions are made quickly and everyone contributes
• Are fluent in both Danish and English, verbally and in writing
