Job summary

BrightConnect is hiring a skilled baker for our Esbjerg bakery in Denmark. The role requires at least two years of professional baking experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

You will prepare doughs and batters, bake breads and pastries, decorate goods, monitor ovens, and ensure quality across production. We offer a competitive starting salary, accommodation if needed, and visa sponsorship for non-EU applicants.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of baking experience in a professional kitchen or bakery.
• Knowledge of different types of flours, yeast, sugars, and other baking ingredients.
• Ability to read recipes accurately and follow instructions closely.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure consistency in product appearance and taste.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time while performing repetitive tasks.
• Good time management skills to meet production deadlines.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare doughs and batters for different types of bread, pastries, and desserts
• Bake products in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
• Decorate and finish baked goods with glazes, icings, fillings, or other toppings
• Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times as needed
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
• Clean work area, equipment, utensils, and tools after each shift
• Order ingredients and supplies as needed
• Train new employees on bakery procedures and recipes
