Job summary

Norlys Energy Trading A/S is seeking a software developer for Algo Core to maintain and evolve the core algorithmic trading system from Aalborg. You will work closely with traders and quants to implement robust features and enhancements in C#/.NET, while exploring new venues and algorithms.

You will join a small team responsible for reliability and continuous improvement, with on-call rotation. Prior hands-on experience with production systems and a strong learning mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science or related field.
• Practical experience with C#/.NET, or substantial experience in Java and ability to transition to C#/.NET.
• Ability to investigate problems, discuss technical approaches, and take responsibility for delivering solutions.
• Eager to learn, both technically and about the domain.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the core trading system in C#/.NET.
• Develop new functionality and features for traders, UI and APIs.
• Integrate into new trading venues and enhance trading algorithms.
• Collaborate with traders and quantitative analysts to translate needs into software.
• Support the system with on-call rotations and incident response.
