Job summary

Maersk in Denmark is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder Project Associate (Aid & Relief) to join our Project Logistics team in Aarhus or Copenhagen. You will manage end-to-end logistics projects, coordinating air, sea, and road transports while engaging with international stakeholders to deliver mission-critical supply chains.

The role offers exposure to complex projects, collaboration with global teams, and opportunities to design innovative logistics solutions for Aid & Relief customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Aid & Relief logistics is essential.
• Proven track record in freight forwarding and project delivery.
• Strong project management capabilities with a history of successful execution.
• Commercial awareness and ability to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Excellent relationship-building with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset with global teams and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end logistics projects for Aid & Relief customers.
• Coordinate transport across ocean, air, and land modes.
• Capture and analyse project requirements to design tailored solutions.
• Support planning, costing, pricing, and proposal development activities.
• Lead project execution to meet customer requirements.
• Create and optimize processes for critical operations.
• Manage small tender processes and secure competitive solutions.
• Conduct site visits and engage local stakeholders for execution.
• Develop innovative logistics concepts and value-added services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Maersk network.
