Job summary

Novonesis seeks an AI Engineer to develop AI-enabled scientific workflows and translate complex research challenges into practical, scalable AI solutions. You will work closely with scientists, data engineers and platform teams to build end-to-end workflows aligned with Novonesis enterprise data foundations.

The role emphasizes hands-on execution, collaboration across disciplines, and ongoing lifecycle management of AI solutions within a hybrid, office-first model based in Bagsværd, Denmark.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in CS, data science, ML or related field with professional working proficiency in English.
• Experience developing AI, ML or LLM-enabled solutions in operational or user-facing environments.
• Strong Python programming with experience in models, APIs, data pipelines and modern software practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement AI-enabled scientific workflows that improve research activities and create measurable value for scientists.
• Design and develop solutions using enterprise AI platforms, models, data foundations and reusable components.
• Contribute to next‑generation R&D initiatives that connect data, models, tools and AI capabilities into integrated end‑to‑end workflows.
• Collaborate with scientists and digital teams to translate user needs into practical AI solutions.
• Support adoption, integration and lifecycle management of AI solutions for long‑term impact.
