Job summary

Boyum IT Solutions is seeking an AI Engineer to design and build AI-powered applications and services. You will develop backend APIs, work with LLM-powered workflows, and contribute to data pipelines and knowledge bases.

The role focuses on practical, real‑world AI implementations within our Unified Platform Services team. You’ll collaborate with product teams, explore AI tools, and deploy solutions in Azure.

Qualifications

• Around 3+ years of software development experience, ideally in backend or software engineering.
• Experience building production services or APIs – ideally AI-related ones.
• Hands‑on experience building AI-powered applications or integrating AI into software.
• A solid understanding of databases, testing, and maintainable software.
• Curiosity about where AI genuinely adds value, and where it doesn’t.
• The ability to work with both technical and non‑technical colleagues to understand a problem before jumping to a solution.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AI-powered applications, assistants and services.
• Develop backend services and APIs.
• Work with LLM-powered applications, RAG, semantic search and agentic workflows.
• Build and improve data pipelines and knowledge bases used by AI applications.
• Help evaluate AI solutions and improve their quality, reliability and accuracy.
• Deploy and operate solutions in Azure.
• Work with Docker, CI/CD and Azure DevOps as part of the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product teams and internal functions to understand problems and turn them into practical technical solutions.
• Build reusable tools, integrations and templates that help other teams work effectively with AI.
• Share knowledge and contribute to how we use AI across the company.
