Danfoss in Silkeborg is seeking a Production Engineer to optimize actuator production equipment, improve reliability, and drive cross-functional improvements. You will work closely with a team in a highly automated environment, applying APQP, PFMEA, and control plans while maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards.

The role blends hands-on problem solving with strategic process development, supporting changes from raw materials to finished products.

Formación

• A technical background such as Production Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Marine Engineer, Toolmaker, or a similar engineering or manufacturing discipline.
• Experience with or a strong interest in process optimization, manufacturing technologies, and production equipment.
• Ability to move between developing technical solutions and solving hands-on challenges on the shop floor with validation and documentation.
• Familiarity with materials, automation, robotics, PLC systems, or 3D CAD/CAM tools.
• Fluency in Danish and English, with strong collaboration and communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Improve production processes and equipment within the actuator area, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and reliability
• Troubleshoot technical challenges on the shop floor and collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement sustainable solutions
• Enhance quality processes through APQP methodologies, validation activities, and documentation such as PFMEAs, control plans, and maintenance strategies
• Introduce and implement new product variants, materials, tooling, and equipment, ensuring changes are validated, documented, and successfully integrated into production
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, productivity, equipment reliability, and manufacturing capacity
