Job summary

Technical University of Denmark (DTU) BRIGHT invites applications for a 3-year PhD position focusing on engineering Actinobacteria for natural product production. Qualifications

• Two-year master's degree (120 ECTS) or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Together with supervisor design, test and implement new genetic engineering methods.
• Apply them to model and novel Actinobacteria strains.
• Sequence, assemble and analyse genomes.
• Generate and analyse metabolomic data of Actinobacteria.
