You will join an interdisciplinary team coordinated by Professor Alex Toftgaard Nielsen, contributing to research, dissemination through journals, and supervising BSc/MSc projects in an international environment.

Qualifications

  • Two-year master's degree (120 ECTS) or equivalent.
  • Background in fermentation and downstream processes.
  • Hands-on experience with cultivation of anaerobic bacteria (Clostridium sp.) and aerobic organisms (e.g., S. cerevisiae).
  • Experience with anaerobic cultivation methods is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
  • Solid English capabilities; involvement in teaching/supervision of students.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize fermentation conditions under anaerobic and aerobic conditions.
  • Conduct media optimization to identify limiting substrates.
  • Carry out proteomics and transcriptomics analyses.
