Job summary

Milestone Systems is seeking a dynamic DAS Academy Lead to build and drive the global Data & AI Services Academy. You will shape learning journeys for sales, partners and engineers, and oversee content across instructor-led and digital formats.

You will lead the e-learning platform strategy, certify frameworks, and collaborate with Product, Development and global teams to align with evolving DAS offerings. Strong English and instructional design expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional experience in education, instructional design or related field.
• 5+ years in learning and development, sales or partner enablement, or technical training in B2B software/tech.
• Experience owning a training academy or curriculum end‑to‑end.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the global DAS Academy strategy, structure and roadmap.
• Design enablement and learning journeys for Milestone Sales, Channel Managers, and Solution Engineers.
• Develop external training and future certification programs for resellers and system integrators.
• Structure and maintain the DAS Academy curriculum across products, solutions, use cases and commercial positioning.
• Develop, coordinate and curate training content across e-learning, instructor-led and self-paced formats.
• Drive the e-learning platform, including content architecture, publishing, learning journeys, and ongoing optimization.
• Establish and manage a DAS certification framework and competency levels.
• Collaborate with Product, Development and SMEs to create accurate learning content.
• Establish Academy KPIs covering participation, completion, certification, competency and business impact.
• Continuously improve Academy content based on learner feedback and evolving needs.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

The Data & AI Services (DAS) Academy Lead is responsible for building and driving the global DAS Academy, enabling internal and external stakeholders to effectively position, sell and deploy the DAS portfolio. The role owns the Academy structure, curriculum content, learning journeys and future certification framework across the DAS solution portfolio.

The role develops and coordinates training content across instructor-led, digital, and self-paced learning formats. The role drives the e-learning platform, including content structure, publishing, learning journeys, and continuous development of the learning experience.

The role works closely with Commercial Enablement, Product, Development, Milestone Global Sales and Partners to ensure training content reflects the evolving DAS portfolio as well as partner and market needs.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and own the global DAS Academy strategy, structure and roadmap.
• Design enablement and learning journeys for Milestone Sales, Channel Managers, and Solution Engineers.
• Develop external training and future certification programs for resellers and system integrators.
• Structure and maintain the DAS Academy curriculum across products, solutions, use cases and commercial positioning.
• Develop, coordinate and curate training content across e-learning, instructor-led and self-paced formats.
• Drive the e-learning platform, including content architecture, publishing, learning journeys, and ongoing optimization.
• Establish and manage a DAS certification framework and competency levels.
• Work with Product, Development and subject-matter experts to create accurate and relevant learning content.
• Establish Academy KPIs covering participation, completion, certification, competency and business impact.
• Continuously improve Academy content and learning experiences based on learner feedback, field requirements, product evolution and commercial priorities.

IN ORDER FOR YOU TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU BRING:

• Education and experience: A degree in education, instructional design, business, communications or a technical field, or equivalent professional experience. You also have 5+ years of professional experience in learning and development, sales or partner enablement, or technical training in B2B software or technology, including at least three years building and owning a training academy or curriculum end to end.
• Curriculum and certification design: Proven expertise in instructional design and adult learning methodology, including curriculum architecture, role-based learning journeys, competency frameworks and assessment or certification design.
• Learning technology: Hands-on experience administering and structuring an LMS or LXP, such as Fuse, Docebo, Rhapsode, Cornerstone, Moodle or similar. You are also proficient in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) or Camtasia, and familiar with SCORM or xAPI.
• Measurement and analytics: Experience defining and reporting learning KPIs, from participation and completion through to business impact (for example, using the Kirkpatrick model), and using data to improve programs.
• Portfolio and language: A portfolio or concrete examples of learning programs, courses or certification tracks you have built. Fluent written and spoken English is required.

ALSO DESIRABLE:

• Experience with AI- and data-driven adaptive learning.
• Experience building external training or certification programs for channel partners, resellers or system integrators.
• Knowledge of video management, security technology or data and AI industries.
• Experience with exam development and credentialing, such as blueprinting, question banks, or digital badging (for example, Credly). A professional certification such as ATD CPTD is also a plus.
• Experience using generative AI tools to create and scale learning content.
