EP Equipment Germany GmbH in Erkrath seeks a skilled technician to join the technical team for pre-delivery inspections of industrial trucks. You will ensure vehicles are in excellent condition before delivery, perform repairs, and carry out custom modifications and attachment mounting.

A technical vocational training in automotive mechatronics or electrics, solid knowledge of electrical systems, and good IT skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical vocational training in automotive mechatronics/electrics or related fields.
• Sound knowledge of electrical systems.
• Knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics is an advantage and can be developed further.

Your responsibilities

You will be part of the technical team at the Erkrath site and will ensure that industrial trucks are in perfect working order before they are delivered to customers (pre-delivery inspection); you will also carry out modifications and repairs.

Responsibilities include:

• Final inspection / quality control / pre-delivery inspection
• Equipment cleaning
• Carrying out repairs on forklift trucks and warehouse equipment
• Custom modifications
• Mounting of attachments
• Assisting in the development of special accessories and their manufacture

Your profile

• Completed technical vocational training, e.g. in automotive mechatronics/electrics, power electronics, construction machinery mechanics or agricultural machinery mechanics.
• Sound knowledge of electrical systems.
• Knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics is an advantage and can be further developed.
• Good IT skills and confidence in using standard MS Office programmes.
• Conversational English and German to communicate with colleagues in Belgium, Germany and other countries
• You are reliable, work meticulously and have a strong commitment to quality
