Qualifikationen

• Eingeschriebene/r Student/in in einem relevanten Studiengang mit technischem Fokus.
• Starkes Interesse an KI, datengetriebenen Geschäftsprozessen und digitalen Lösungen.
• Erfahrung mit AI-unterstützter Entwicklung (z. B. Prototyping, Generative KI).
• Grundverständnis von Retrieval Augmented Generation, Prompting, Data Modeling.

Aufgaben

• Unterstützung bei der technischen und konzeptionellen Entwicklung von daten- & KI-basierten Anwendungen.
• Identifikation, Evaluation und Prototyping neuer AI-/Daten-Use-Cases.
• Arbeit mit RAG-Ansätzen und generativen KI-Methoden.

Werkstudent (part-time student assistant) in Data & AI Solutions Engineering within Transformation & Strategy at Mercedes‑Benz Cars Vertrieb Deutschland (Berlin). The role supports the technical and conceptual development, implementation and further development of data- and AI-based applications for strategic questions of top management. Start date: November 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Support technical and conceptual advancement of data & AI projects for Mercedes‑Benz Cars Sales Germany
• Identify, evaluate and prototype new AI- and data-driven use cases
• Use state-of-the-art technologies such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and generative AI approaches
• Work in business analytics and reporting areas
• Support modeling of processes, data flows and software architectures
• Prepare presentations, concepts and management decision documents
• Collaborate closely with business units, project teams and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

Requirements

• Enrolled student in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration with technical focus or comparable program
• Strong interest in AI, data-driven business processes and digital solutions
• Experience with AI-assisted development approaches (e.g., Vibe Coding, prototyping, generative AI tools)
• Ideally experience with AI APIs and platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini
• Basic understanding of Retrieval Augmented Generation, prompting, data modeling and AI application development
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts, SQL, data preparation and reporting solutions
• Interest in software architecture, process modeling and structured technical implementation
• User-oriented product development mindset and ability to translate business needs into solutions
• Ideally first project experience in larger organizations or corporate structures
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
• Familiarity with collaborative platforms like Git(Hub), Jira and Confluence is a plus
• Very good German (C2) and good English; confident use of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel); Power BI or similar reporting tools advantageous
• Earliest start: November 2026
