Job summary

Amazon Workforce Staffing is hiring for warehouse roles where you will get orders ready for customers relying on Amazon services. You will be selecting, packing, and shipping orders, sometimes for fast 2-hour delivery, using handheld devices to sort and prepare deliveries.

Roles include lifting up to 15 kg solo and 23 kg in teams, with shift flexibility and site-specific schedules. Training for PIT operation is provided, and a safe, modern workplace is offered with benefits.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be 18 years or older.
• Proficiency in German and/or English, with ability to understand and follow safety guidelines.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to site-specific safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Get customer orders ready and pack them up.
• Receive and put away inventory.
• Load boxes into trucks for shipment.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Ensure product meets quality requirements.
• Use smartphones and handheld devices to sort and prepare orders.
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and work at heights up to 13m; training provided.

Salary

Starting September 1st, our entry-level wage will increase to €16,28

• Salary 15.65€ gross per hour for day time shifts
• Guaranteed wage adjustment after 12 months (calculated 15.96€ /h gross)
• and 24 months (calculated 17.43€ /h gross)

Shifts

We offer both full-time (+30 hours/week) and part-time (12+ hours/week) opportunities with fixed shift schedules to suit different lifestyles.

Shift options and availability vary by site, but you'll have the ability to choose your schedule later in the process.

Working week: Mon-Sat, 5 days, 2 Saturdays/month

• DMV1 Amazon - S42 Transport GmbH, Zum Frachtzentrum 3, Rostock

Transportation

Job Overview

You’ll be part of the Amazon warehouse team that gets orders ready for customers relying on Amazon services. You will be selecting, packing, and shipping orders – in some cases, for our super-fast (2-hour or less) delivery service.

• Get customer orders ready and pack them up
• Receive and put away inventory
• Load boxes into trucks for shipment
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
• Ensure product meets quality requirements
• Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and van
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver, and work at heights up to 13m. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.
• You’ll also need to be able to
• Lift up to 15kg solo and 23kg team lift (RGL1 only)
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Work at a height of up to 13m on a mezzanine (where applicable)
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards

Candidates must be 18 years or older and proficient in German and/or English, with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirement and safety guidelines.
