Zusammenfassung

SICIM is seeking a Welding Coordinator for pipeline projects in Germany. The role reports to the Corporate Welding Manager / Site Manager and involves coordinating with client inspectors, Notified Bodies and German suppliers to ensure welding quality and compliance on site.

Requirements include a Technical Diploma, fluent English and German, and a minimum of 3 years’ welding/NDT experience. Responsibilities cover pre-production, production support, inspection, KPI analysis, and master dossier

Qualifikationen

• Fluent in English and German for technical coordination and reporting.
• Proven ability to liaise with inspectors, Notified Bodies and suppliers.
• Proficient in MS Word/Excel for documentation and KPI tracking.

Aufgaben

• coordinating with Client Inspectors, Notified Body (TUV) and German Suppliers on technical aspects related to welding
• carrying out the technical requirements related to welding activity according to the local rules (e.g. DVGW GW350)
• attendance technical meeting
• technical support for welding and NDT during production activity
• main interface with Client inspector, Notified Body (TUV) and German Suppliers on welding technical aspects
• trouble shooting on welding technical and operative aspects
• direct welding inspection activity (e.g. visual test, welding supervision, welding data collections including welding parameters and pipers information for Project Log Book preparation)
• welding inspectors coordination
• interface with Client inspector and Notified Body during radiographic film evaluations and welds acceptance
• welders and welding operators analysis of performance (quality and productivity)
• Client NDT crews interface and operative support
• preparing master dossier of project document for final consignment (as-built, soft and hard copy)
• statistical analysis of performance (kpi)

We are currently looking for a Welding Coordinator for our pipeline projects based in Germany.

Purpose of the position

As Welding Coordinator,you will respond to the Corporate Welding Manager / Site Manager and be part of the Welding Department.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities

BEFORE PRODUCTION

• coordinating with Client Inspectors, Notified Body (TUV) and German Suppliers on technical aspects related to welding;
• carrying out the technical requirements related to welding activity according to the local rules (e.g. DVGW GW350);
• attendance technical meeting.

DURING PRODUCTION

• technical support for welding and NDT during production activity;
• main interface with Client inspector, Notified Body (TUV) and German Suppliers on welding technical aspects;
• trouble shooting on welding technical and operative aspects;
• direct welding inspection activity (e.g. visual test, welding supervision, welding data collections including welding parameters and pipers information for Project Log Book preparation);
• welding inspectors coordination;
• interface with Client inspector and Notified Body during radiographic film evaluations and welds acceptance;

CONCLUSION PROJECT WELDING PHASE

Certificates

• Specific training in welding: International Welding Specialist (IWS) or Inspector (IWI) or Technician/Engineer (IWT/IWE),
• Specific training in NDT:
• certified level 2 film interpreter method radiographic (RT) according with DIN ISO 9712.
• certified level 2 method visual test (VT) according with DIN ISO 9712.

Knowledge

• Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, Outook)
