Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA) is seeking a skilled Welder to contribute to the manufacturing of high-precision aerospace components. The role focuses on multilayer TIG and MIG welding, reading detailed drawings, and delivering high-quality welds for demanding aerospace applications.

Qualifikationen

• Completed apprenticeship in metalworking with strong TIG welding expertise.
• Experience welding stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, or non-ferrous metals.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with precision.
• High quality standards and autonomous, reliable work style.
• Valid welding certifications (ISO 9606-1 141) and crane/forklift licenses are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Perform multilayer TIG and MIG welding on high-quality components.
• Weld complex geometries including thin sheets and high-alloy materials.
• Manufacture and weld high-pressure piping systems up to 300 bar.
• Prepare components and seams based on drawings and specs.
• Produce prototypes and perform repair and rework welding.

About The Team

Our international and agile team is looking for support from a motivated person as a Welder (f/m/d). You will contribute to the manufacturing of high-precision aerospace components and play a key role in delivering reliable hardware for New Space missions. Do you want to revolutionize space travel? Your Tasks

• Perform multilayer TIG and MIG welding on high-quality components


• Weld complex geometries including thin sheets, circumferential welds, and high-alloy materials


• Manufacture and weld high-pressure piping systems up to 300 bar


• Prepare components and welding seams based on technical drawings and specifications


• Produce prototypes and carry out repair and rework welding

Your Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in metalworking with strong expertise in TIG welding


• Proven experience welding stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, or other non-ferrous metals


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work with precision


• High level of quality awareness and independent, reliable working style


• Valid welding certifications (e.g. ISO 9606-1 141) and additional licenses (crane/forklift) are a plus
