Job summary

K Health is seeking full-time Primary Care Physicians to deliver fully remote, video-based care to patients across the US. Providers will manage preventive, sick, and chronic care with support from a Clinical AI Platform and a 24/7 operations team.

Licensure in NC or SC is required, with IMLC preferred. Ideal candidates have board certification in Family or Internal Medicine, and experience with EPIC EMR, working 40 hours per week with 36 clinical hours and three 12-hour shifts, including

• Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine.
• 1+ year post-residency experience in in-person primary care.
• Experience with virtual visits required.
• Active NC and/or SC medical license; IMLC preferred.
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality preventative, acute, and chronic care in a fully remote setting.
• Elevate remote care with compassionate patient encounters.
• Manage a dedicated panel of patients as their PCP.
• Refer patients to specialists when indicated.
• Work on population health initiatives for risk-attributed patients.
• Support patients post-discharge to improve understanding and reduce readmissions.
• Maintain adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices.

About the role:

Join K Health as we partner with the nation's top-rated hospital systems to expand access to primary care in communities facing complex barriers to in-person care. We are looking for full-time Primary Care Physicians who will deliver fully remote, video-based, comprehensive clinical care encompassing preventive care, sick visits, and chronic condition management. The ideal candidate must be licensed in NC and/or SC, have a board certification in Family or Internal Medicine, and be comfortable practicing the full spectrum of primary care, including pediatrics and mental health. Work from the comfort of your home and deliver care to those who need it the most, supported by K Health's cutting-edge Clinical AI Platform. Our virtual clinic is fully supported 24/7 by a dedicated team of Care Concierge, Clinical Operations, and technical support staff, which helps significantly reduce your administrative burden.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide high-quality preventative, acute, and chronic care in a fully remote, virtual setting
• Elevate remote care by providing compassionate and meaningful patient encounters
• Manage a dedicated panel of patients as their primary care physician
• Refer patients to specialists or acute care services when clinically indicated
• Work on population health initiatives for risk-attributed patients (AWVs, care gaps, transitions of care, risk capture)
• Support patients immediately post-discharge to improve understanding of treatment plans and reduce hospital readmissions
• Practice continuous self-evaluation to ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices

What we're looking for:

• Board-Certified in Family or Internal Medicine
• 1+ year of post-residency work experience in an in-person primary care setting
• Experience with virtual visits required
• Must have active NC and/or SC state medical license, IMLC preferred
• Must have prior experience with EPIC EMR
• Clean background and medical malpractice history
• Willing to commit 40 hours per week, 36 clinical hours
• Must be able to work 3x12-hour shifts per week; Saturday and Sunday, plus one additional weekday with flexibility over starting hours (i.e., 7:00 am-9:00 am EDT)
• Spanish-speaking is a plus
• Strong interest in developing longitudinal relationships with patients and managing chronic care conditions
• Comfort with management of acute conditions in a virtual setting
• Extensive experience handling 3+ cases per hour
• Eagerness to learn about and implement cutting-edge technology to improve efficiency and clinical outcomes

Compensation:

$270,000 - $300,000 USD
