We are seeking a Senior Web Engineer to play a critical role in developing a brand-new (greenfield) visualization product.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Cloud development team to deliver a high-performance interface, ensuring the visualization layer is fast, responsive, and scalable under demanding conditions.

While your main focus will be on advanced graphics and mapping capabilities, you’ll also contribute to our existing Cloud/SaaS platform—making this an ideal opportunity for a senior engineer who thrives in frontend graphics but enjoys working across the full stack.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop advanced 2D and 3D visualizations using WebGL and Canvas, ensuring smooth performance (targeting 60fps) even with high-volume data
• Convert technical requirements into fully functional features, including handling layers, vector tiles, and interactive elements, while working autonomously when needed
• Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of our Cloud platform (Vue.js, Node.js, TypeScript)
• Partner with the Cloud team to support feature delivery and resolve issues across the broader application stack
• Design and maintain reusable UI components that integrate effectively with the visualization layer

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience in professional web development
• Strong hands‑on experience with Canvas API and WebGL, including libraries such as Three.js, Deck.gl, or PixiJS
• Proven experience building interactive maps using tools like Mapbox GL JS, Google Maps, or Leaflet, including handling geospatial datasets
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js preferred, though React or Angular experience is also valued)
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Rust is considered a plus
• Experience working with Docker and AWS is a plus
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or PostGIS is a plus
