TEKsystems is hiring a remote Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and the supporting APIs. You will translate business requirements into clean code, build and consume RESTful APIs, and write automated tests to ensure quality.

The role involves collaboration, performance optimization, and participating in CI/CD processes. The position is contract to hire, based in Phoenix with hybrid work options.

Web Developer - Job Description

• Designs, develops, and maintains responsive, user-facing web applications and the APIs and services that support them.
• Translates business and UX requirements into clean, maintainable front-end and back-end code using modern web frameworks.
• Builds and consumes RESTful APIs and integrates web applications with internal systems and third-party services.
• Writes automated tests (unit, integration, and UI) to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborates with designers, product owners, and other developers to plan features, review code, and resolve defects.
• Optimizes applications for performance, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and security best practices.
• Participates in code reviews and follows established coding standards, version control practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoots and resolves production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing fixes with minimal disruption.
• Documents application architecture, code, and deployment processes to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
• Stays current on web development trends, tools, and frameworks, recommending improvements where they add business value.
• Provides technical support in response to software development questions or needs, and may occasionally work more than 40 hours per week or evening/night hours to meet critical deadlines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
