Qualifikationen

• Proven experiences in designing and developing HOE or / and metasurfaces devices for optical beam shaping, polarization conversion and imaging.
• Strong theoretical knowledge in wave optics and basic knowledge in geometric optics, and Ph.D. in optics-related fields preferred.
• Proficiency with optical design and simulation software such as VirtualLab, FDTD, Comsol, Zemax, LightTools, CodeV.
• Excellent abilities in problem identification, analysis and solving, and systematic goal-oriented work approach.
• Enthusiastic team player with fluent communication skills in English.

Wave-optics Design Expert (m / f / d)

We are seeking a skilled candidate in wave-optics design for holographic optics element or / and metasurfaces in field of optical display, picture generation unit, Lidar in vehicle.

Your mission

• Perform research and design work in wave-optics design for holographic optics element (HOE) or / and metasurfaces in field of optical display, picture generation unit, Lidar in vehicle;
• Go from the analysis of the application requirements, through solution design and system simulation, up to proof of concept and prototyping;
• Understand the background of business and tracking the advanced technologies in the relevant fields, gain insight into and explore new technologies and direction;
• Extensive interaction and close collaboration with co-workers in the team and from other departments, combine with top industry resources to achieve the business objectives;

Your areas of expertise

• Proven experiences in designing and developing HOE or / and metasurfaces devices for optical beam shaping, polarization conversion and imaging.
• Strong theoretical knowledge in wave optics and basic knowledge in geometric optics, and applicants with a Ph.D. degree in optics-related fields are preferred.
• Proficiency with optical design and simulation software : VirtualLab, FDTD, Comsol, Zemax, LightTools, CodeV, etc. Programming skills are considered as a plus, particularly experience with Python and / or MATLAB.
• Excellent abilities in problem identification, analysis and solving, and systematic and goal-oriented work approach.
• Enthusiastic to work as part of our international team and fluent communication skills in English
