Carbomax, a leader in activated carbon solutions, seeks a Water, PFAS & Liquid Applications Lead to drive technical leadership in water treatment applications with a focus on PFAS removal, adsorption-based purification, and advanced processes to deliver robust solutions to global clients.

You will develop new applications, lead pilots, model adsorption systems, collaborate with labs and partners, and mentor project teams while traveling internationally to support customers.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years in water and liquid treatment, environmental technologies or activated carbon applications.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and willingness to travel internationally.

We are looking for a Water, PFAS & Liquid Applications Lead in water treatment applications with a focus on PFAS removal technologies, activated carbon-based purification systems, and advanced adsorption processes to provide technical leadership, drive solution design and performance optimization, and support the development of new water treatment application areas.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Application Leadership

• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for water and liquid-phase treatment applications, with a strong focus on PFAS removal and adsorption-based technologies.
• Evaluate customer requirements and define optimal treatment solutions for contaminated water and liquid streams.
• Provide technical guidance on adsorption performance, system design, media selection, and operational troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with sales teams and customers to improve system efficiency, treatment performance, and lifecycle cost optimization.
• Support sales teams in technical execution of projects to ensure successful delivery.
• Lead pilot testing, field trials, and performance validation for water and liquid treatment and PFAS removal systems.

Specialty Water Treatment & Solution Development

• Develop and utilize modeling and simulation tools for water and liquid-phase adsorption and PFAS removal applications.
• Work closely with laboratories, production teams, suppliers, and research partners to develop and improve water and liquid treatment solutions.
• Identify new application opportunities in emerging contaminants, including PFAS, micropollutants, and industrial wastewater challenges.
• Lead development of technical documentation, application guidelines, product specifications, and performance reports.
• Contribute to innovation and R&D initiatives focused on sustainable water and liquid treatment technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Process Engineering, or related technical fields.
• 5–10 years of experience in water and liquid treatment, environmental technologies, activated carbon applications, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of adsorption processes in liquid-phase systems and contaminant removal mechanisms.
• Experience in one or more of the following applications:
• Drinking water treatment and purification
• PFAS removal and remediation systems
• Industrial wastewater treatment
• Groundwater remediation
• Surface water treatment
• Activated carbon adsorption systems (GAC/PAC)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously
• Advanced English (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Customer-focused, solution-oriented, and capable of technical leadership
